Jardin Des Sens Saigon is proud to announce an exclusive dinner event which will be available for a limited time on October 8th & 9th. Spearheading this delightful undertaking are Chef Frédéric Thévenet & Chef Jonathan Dinh.

As a graduating member of California’s Culinary Academy, Chef Jonathan soon garnered a much envied career through his executive chef position in Le Chateau in San Francisco & soon after working as a consulting chef at the Metropolitan Grill at Saigon. After finding much success in the frontlines, Jonathan soon found himself passionately occupying the position of President of the International Food & Wine Society (IFWS) for the last 3 years. His work has earned him such illustrious awards as the Wine Spectator Excellence Award & Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Restaurant Award. It is fair to say Chef Jonathan’s wine selection is one that should hardly be met with skepticism.
In large contrast to Chef Dinh, however, Chef Frédéric was born into what many consider to be “Michelin” city, Clermont-Ferrand. Through the rich culinary culture of France & embrace of his family’s culinary background, Frédéric soon found himself running the kitchen of famed culinary veterans for 30 years. The large repertoire of culinary titans he’s worked under seems unfathomable with names like Chefs Guy Savoy, Guy Martin, Claude Troisgros, Pierre Gagnaire, & Alain Ducasse to boast about. Though he maintains Ducasse to be the most influential in his personal style of all of them, it is clear to see Frédéric’s pursuit for the authentic yet elegant approach to his cooking.
Despite their varying backgrounds, both chefs Frédéric & Jonathan share a profound zeal for Vietnam & are eager in sharing their worldly lens through a refined & cultured approach to their wine & dish selections.
Awaiting visitors will be a regal 10-course Caviar dinner with classic and surprising food pairing including sea urchin, beef Tartar, pig tongue, camembert, and more. For a booking price of 3,000,000 VND, each guest will be able to experience a delightful night of world-class cuisine inspired by cultures both foreign & native to Vietnam.
